Prohibited conduct
This page collects the actions that are explicitly off-limits: how you contact brands, content originality and compliance, traffic authenticity, accounts and invites. The last section lists a few things that are often mistaken for violations and are not. What happens to an account afterwards, and how to appeal, lives in Account standing.
How to read this page#
Everything below is a prohibited action, not a suggestion. Severity is judged case by case, but none of it is a gray area.
Creators and boosters, same standard
Whether you are posting original content as a Creator or replying and quoting as a Booster, the same rule and the same consequence apply.
A rejected draft is not a violation
A rejection means this particular piece doesn't fit this campaign, or is missing something. It doesn't touch your account standing and isn't recorded as a violation. This page is about a different category: actions that affect your account.
When in doubt, ask first
Asking support on Discord before you do something is far easier than appealing after. Asking is not held against you.
Contacting brands#
Brands are public accounts on π, and they do see what you post under their tweets. But campaign slots, review outcomes, and reward amounts are all decided inside Tutti β public replies and DMs on π are not an entry point and will not speed anything up.
Do not @ a brand in public asking for an invite
Don't reply under a brand's official account, campaign post, or any public post asking to be invited to create (for example, βcan you invite me to create on tutti?β). Invitations are sent by the brand inside Tutti based on content fit; a public reply won't get you one sooner. Brands do forward these to us, and it goes into your account record.
Do not DM a brand to push for an outcome
Don't DM a brand to demand that your content pass review, that a rejected draft be released, that your reward be raised, or that extra slots be opened. Review and settlement outcomes are decided by the brand inside the platform. A DM won't change the outcome β it only makes the contact itself the problem.
Do not keep pushing after a no
Once someone has declined, or simply not replied: continuing to DM, coming back from another account, repeatedly tagging them in public posts, or organizing others to pile on is treated as harassment. This holds regardless of whether your underlying request was reasonable.
The right door
Want more campaigns: see Getting invited. Draft rejected, or you disagree with a decision: file an appeal inside Tutti. Question about a campaign brief: ask on the campaign page, or reach out to support.
Brands are our customers and the source of the reward pool. One creator publicly pressing them reads, from where they sit, as what Tutti creators are like β which is why we treat this as a hard line rather than a matter of etiquette.
Review and support#
Review outcomes and moderation decisions are made against one consistent standard. How many times you follow up does not enter into it.
One appeal, not sustained pressure
If you think a decision was wrong, file one appeal on the welcome page and describe your situation in your own words; the team reviews it within 3 business days. Opening new tickets for the same thing, or chasing it across several channels at once, makes it neither faster nor different.
Do not re-file the same request from another account
The same matter submitted from a second account is still the same matter. It does not get an independent second review.
Do not invent facts in an appeal
Your appeal text is passed to a member of our team as written. Explaining your situation helps. Inventing a reason that never happened turns a case that might have gone your way into a new problem.
Traffic and engagement manipulation#
Every view, like, reply, quote, and boost has to come from a real person choosing to engage. Manufacturing engagement is a hard line, at any scale.
Bots, scripts, purchased engagement
Any tool or service that manufactures engagement: view bots, reply farms, purchased likes or reposts, automated quote or boost scripts, click farms, and coordinated accounts acting on one person's behalf.
Third-party promotion and exchange platforms
Running a Tutti campaign post through a third-party promotion, engagement-exchange, or follower-growth platform falls under the same prohibition β whatever it calls itself (promotion, boosting, mutual support, task or points exchange), and whether or not you paid. Using one is a violation on its own, whether or not it moved your rewards.
If someone injects traffic into your post, report it
If you believe your post was hit with traffic you didn't buy, tell support. You don't need to delete anything β settlement runs on a clean baseline, so the injected portion is stripped out and won't trigger any penalty against you.
Content originality#
Tutti rewards content you actually wrote and judged for yourself.
Lifted and lightly reworded content
Taking another piece's structure, full sentences, or core examples and presenting them as your own β swapping a few words or adding emojis included. Citing others, reusing public data, and building on public frameworks are all fine: credit the source, restate it in your own words, add your own judgment.
Wholesale AI generation
A piece generated end to end by a model, with none of your own experience or judgment in it, is not original work. Using AI to research, structure, or tighten your language is fine; handing over the "why I see it this way" layer is what makes it not yours.
Empty reposts and spam
Reposts with nothing of your own added (a bare "nice", a single emoji), link-only posts, copy-pasted templates, emoji-only replies, and completely off-topic content.
Stripping the campaign context
A quote of a campaign post whose content goes off-topic, or that strips out the campaign link, keywords, and context and leaves only a shell, is treated as out of campaign scope and does not count.
Content compliance#
A campaign post is first of all a post you published on π. πβs rules and the law where you live apply to it too.
Follow π's rules
All campaign content must comply with π's Terms of Service and Community Guidelines. If your account is throttled or suspended for breaking π's rules, we cannot restore it, and rewards from the affected campaigns are impacted too.
Illegal content, adult content, targeted harassment
Illegal content, adult content, and content harassing a specific person do not count toward a campaign and go to moderation.
False or misleading claims
Don't invent results, numbers, or features you haven't verified for a brand, and don't fake product screenshots. Purely promotional ad copy also falls short of what's asked β brands are here for real, specific, first-hand accounts.
Copyright
Do not use images, video, fonts, or text you have no right to use. Copyright infringement is handled as the same class of problem as plagiarism.
Accounts and invites#
One account belongs to one real person. Settlement and the invite system both rest on that.
Register with accurate information
Provide accurate and complete information when you register, including the details needed to pay you.
Only you use your account
Everything that happens under your account counts as yours. Lending it out, handing it to a third-party manager, or sharing credentials leaves the consequences with you β "someone else posted that" is not a defense.
Do not use a new account to get around a decision
After permanent removal, the same π account cannot register on Tutti again β and coming back on a different π account does not get around that either.
These are not violations#
A few things that get mistaken for penalties. None of them are recorded against your account, and none need an appeal.
A rejected draft
It means this piece didn't match the campaign's angle, depth, or material. Revise and resubmit; your account standing is untouched.
Waitlisted / not matched
Both states are about supply and fit, not a judgment on your account quality, and neither is a penalty. See Account standing.
Self-quoting past the free allowance
Quoting your own campaign post is not a violation. Views beyond the free allowance simply don't count toward effective exposure β a measurement rule, not a penalty.
Boosting your own post
Quoting or replying to your own campaign post earns no Booster reward, but it is not a violation β your Creator side still counts normally.
What happens if you cross one#
Severity is judged case by case, and lands on one of the account states described in Account standing.
Not every item means removal
For things like publicly asking for an invite or pressing a brand over DM, a first instance is usually a warning noted on your account record; repeated instances, or ones that have already affected a brand relationship, lead to suspension. Confirmed engagement manipulation or plagiarism is permanent removal.
Effect on rewards
Rewards already settled and issued are unaffected and remain claimable on the earnings page. Unsettled rewards, and rewards from campaigns still in progress, are frozen first and canceled if the decision stands.
Appeals
A suspension can be appealed once from the welcome page, and the team reviews it within 3 business days. Removal for a confirmed originality or engagement-manipulation violation cannot be appealed.
